Novatek says RAS net profit rises 16% to 109 bln rbl in Jan–June

MOSCOW, Aug 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian independent gas producer Novatek grew by 16% on the year to 108.63 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Friday.

Revenue decreased by 19% on the year to 216.8 billion rubles, the prime cost of sales fell 21% to 120.2 billion rubles.
